  • The engine is a 1948 C85-12F, orginally from a Cessna 120. Aeronca straight stacks NAS3 Stromberg carb. The C90 and C85 are of the same O-200 Continental series so they look somewhat similar. Had fun flying yesterday-Thanks for your comments.

  • That engine reminds me a lot of the Continental C-90 I had in the Gere Sport Biplane I owned back in the 80's. Same color, same exhaust stacks. I'm wondering if it IS the same engine? If not, then a strange coincidence. Nice video.
