Yes you can, you twist the viewfinder so that when you fold it down the screen instead of the back is facing out. Although, it's much harder to get a steady shot and to aim at what you want to shoot.

is it just me or does anyone that has this camera...see a bit of a fish eye effect on this cameras output...im wondering if i should returm my xacti because i notice a slight fish eye effect on all my footage? please someone contact me on any helpful info with this situation?

Mp4 is the preferred YouTube format...so trust me it can take mp4's....

Actually you can upload .mp4 (mpeg4) to youtube just fine. :) I did it today and it works great. Maybe you just had some random error thing, it happens to me too once in a while. Just try again. Good luck ! :)

@MrDannyFIRE yeah but its an mp4 which cant be uploaded to youtube, are you using a mac? I just tried 5 min ago straigh from the SD card, and it says the uplaod failed and its aborted

well you have to connect the camera or the sd card to the computer and then take the file and upload it on youtube
