  • So is this the fix for a "blown head gasket"? I don't know if it is the same issue you are fixing in this vid?

  • @jmwwd No, the head gasket is a much more difficult job. In this video we are just replacing the valve cover gasket. The head gasket sits between the cylinder head and engine block, and requires removal of the cylinder head itself.

  • how do people get the colored valve covers, like is it possible to paint htem some how or what

  • @UNENCUMBERED1 You can paint them, or have them powdercoated for the best results,, or you can purchase one that is already red.

  • Very nice tutorial. Do you have anything for 96 Nissan sentra XE? I changed the gasket, spark plug and wires, alternator and battery. After 6 months the car is stalling right after it is started. The car shakes when ac is turned on and also when I stop at lights. When going, no problem what so ever. Please help

  • @rijoshj First of all, is your check engine light on? if so the first step would be to get the codes scanned and find out what the trouble codes are.
