  • just great, thank you!!!!!!!!

  • Although I admire Albrecht Mayer's playing (being an oboist myself), it would be really unfair for me to just brag on him. Each of these performers is just too amazing to not mention.

Another great performance from the Berliner Philharmoniker!

Looking forward to hearing this in the DCH!

  • richter plays the same way.. so why complain?

  • mechanic !

  • I really liked this. Very clean playing, and the mood is high energy & driving forward, with no doubts. Very pure playing. I Liked it better than Zimerman's version. Yes, I know, it's all subjective.

  • This is so Cool He is an icredible pianist, but for beethoven the best is baremboim, but this performance is very beutiful

  • I would like to note that there's a difference between strict and rigid interpretation. Alfred Brendel's intepretations of this this concerto are strict but not rigid (listen to him with Abbado and the Lucerne Festival Orchestra). Vogt is faithful to the score but in such unimaginative way. His glossy sounds and flat inexpressive trills don't realize Beethoven's original thoughts to my ears.

  • i heard him play this with the rotterdam philharmonic 2 weeks ago, he was amazing!!!

  • His Brahms sounded better for me!
