It's quite hard to get a field show to work well with any music, really, especially a piece not originally composed for the instruments being used (trumpets and sax are ok, but tuba substituting for an electric base, for instance, is tough.) Add to that the players are both playing music and moving to specific spots on the field. Add beyond that the speed of sound means notes played in the back reach the audience later than those coming from the front. Tough to pull off.

Poor Articulation is the down fall of this piece,same goes to all jazz. However their drill did look good. but if you can't do both then go home

Maybe it's the players, maybe it's the arrangement or maybe it's just the recording...but I don't feel like this does Yoko Kanno much justice in her songs that she composed. It was fine and everything but I dunno....
