Did that bird really fly up so high that you can seee the continents like that? O_O it looks so computer animated! I don't even think a bird can fly from one continent to another in less than 10 min!

@Myobokuuzan The short scene you mention was entirely CG. The highest-flying bird we know of is the Bar-Headed Goose. They were shown earlier in the film.

So beautiful, thanks for posting. I think it would've helped if they'd put a note on the screen identifying the different types of birds, since the narration didn't deal with that.

Very nice documentry but one thing missing no body pointed out. And that was back ground explanation, if there was some back groud voice than it will make these videos more interstating...

After seeing this i now want to buy the film. I want to know how they filmed the footage of the birds in flight. Really interesting. Modern technology i guess. Maybe some remote control minature flying device.
