As a matter of fact, I don't know ANYONE in Russia who considers them traitors. They are people, who saw an upportunity to earn more by playing abroad. PERIOD. The Wings were playing somewhere out of town. Detroit went on the power play. This was in like '97. Scott Bowman put the Russian 5 out on the power play. They gained control of the puck and went to work. There was about 7 tape-to-tape pinpoint passes and a goal scored. And, I will never forget this, the opposition announcer said, "Did we just see that?" Yeah, it was amazing, but they did it pretty regular. That is the ultimate compliment to these 5.
