  • Barry,

You should be in Nashville doing session work.

  • Hey Allen.

Many thanks, but I'm well aware of my limitations!! - Freddy and Marlene sent me this tune done by an award winning bunch of musos a while ago, and I was so taken with it, I tried to have a go myself.

    - just for fun!

  • Very Awesome! you'd fit right in here in the South. I love the way you accompany yourself...very talented!

  • Aha! Hello again, glendagable!

Fun that you found this one.... sadly, I've not yet managed to find myself any bluegrass players who'd have me, but it remains an ambition to learn some of these great tunes... friends in the US sent me a brilliant version of this tune, and I had a go at it....

Whereabouts are you in the South?

I'm nearly a blushin at your fine comment glendagable, many thanks, and I'm so happy to be listened to!!!

  • here's the rest:

My husband's father and his whole family line has lived in Marietta, GA, outside Atlanta, over 180 yrs worth. But he went to England to get a Ph.D in Theology and received an MRS. instead. He married a Brit from Boar's Hill, Oxford, England in '58. Isn't life funny that'a way? You're fun to listen to and talk to. Thank Ya'll very much for your sweet words, kind sir. (smile)

  • Well, Hey Back, Mr. Barry,

I am in good ol' Hot-lanta also known as Atlanta, GA. Although I was in Tenn, NC, and VA, my father was in the Navy and we moved around on the coast a lot before I came here 20-some yrs ago. more...

  • Hey thanks, Vi!

'tis a nice cheerful sound isn't it!

    Best wishes,

    Barry
