The first time I watched this film start to finish, it deeply, deeply affected me for days on end. I stared at the blank screen after the credits for the longest time.

If you don't get the movie I'll explain it without spoilers. The movie is bout Kirsten, just got married and once it comes into media that there is a star that will pass earth and will be a great once in a life time event, she realizes there is more to life. However, scientist and the government knows that the star will abolish earth, but chooses not to cause mass hysteria. Kirsten believes and accepts this, her sister does not, only up until the last mins of the movie. Its amazing, really

Take it from me, hard to watch boring movie about a depressed childish bitch (kirsten dunst), then you see her titties, then a large planet hits earth and kills everything. You if you liked this movie I probably dont like you....

One of the best and the most ingenious movies I have ever seen. The first part, Justine, depicts the pointlessness of everyday rituals and the effect they have on a melancholiac. In the second part, Claire, the tables turn as those who cherished life so much, the cholerics and the sanguinic, begin to despair make futile attempts to save themselves, while those who suffered accept the inevitable. The two sisters are masterfully represented as polar opposites, different in every imaginable way.
