  • Yeah, I had some troubles with my mountains earlier today, and this video pretty much cleared up all the questions to the problems I was having. Thanks a lot for posting this! This is an excellent painting and yes, Bob Ross would be VERY proud of this. Thanks again.

  • @AJohnson0325 The paint has to be very dry on the knife, work it on the palette until it gets stiffer.

  • I have a hard time using the knife to put the snow on the mountains. The paint usually comes off the knife like putting icing on a cake, even when i barely press at all. The paint doesn't break apart like i want it to. Any suggestions? thanks!

  • There was a video on here where someone was doing one of these paintings they were calm then they started propper slow fuckin it up. then they go crazy on it and the camera gets damaged all that was soooo frigging funny. BUt it got taken down by the person I think.

  • ditto

  • remember "Think where light would strike"!

  • nice drawings, however, with the sun in the position you have drawn it in, i don't think the highlights would be from the right, more like on the fringes from both left and right

  • Muy bien pero se ve una fuente de luz en el fondo sin embargo los picos (cerros) muestran un brillo lateral derecho ¿cuantas fuentes de luz hay?

  • Hey twinket great job, ive been doin the bob ross technique for 2-3 years now and while im slowly progressing, im always having trouble with making decisions on the highlighting the angles on the mountains, i can get the paint to break its making the different angles that is the tricky part for me, any advice? Thanks.
