what bothers me about the line is that they didn't word it differently. "run my fingers through the hair Esmeralda"
the sentence would sound better if it said "hair OF Esmeralda"
Idk, I figure if they worded it differently, the line could have sounded better. I think that's the only part that bugs the grammar freak in me lol

Do you realy think that russian version is good?? Russians can't make good musicals at all. I know russian language, their lyrics are soooo poor!

I think the french version is soooo original and magnifique...the english version can't pull out the feelings as i expected it would in the french

I have no idea. I'm assuming it's the potential to make as much money as possible in all available markets. Personally, I hate the English version, too. It would have been a bit better (not much) if they got a better translator.

Shit the englih version is just shit, the lyrics are so cheap,this musical is superbe in French,Italian,Spanish and Russian, why did they think it would sound good in english??????????
