  • Kaiser sounds like the rabbi from Seinfeld that kept telling everyone Elaine's secrets. :-)

  • Isaiah 53 does not date to 800 years before Christ.

  • If Jesus, is Not the Messiah, then what explanation would God have for being Silent for the past 2000 years, and why would God see it fit that the Old Testament, would all be written *before* such a person would live? It really looks like the Old Testament, didn't need to continue after Christ, since the purpose reached its fulfillment.

  • Where is the word 'resurrection' mentioned? Aren't you adding your own interpretation to the text? Further verse 8 says after the 'cut off' piece: "mi'pesha ami nega LAMO" (מפשע עמי נגע למו) which is translated directly: "because of my people's sins THEY were striken". 'Lamo' is plural which leans towards more individuals suffering instead of one single.

  • Isaiah 53 speaks of Messiah being "cut off" and then it says that He will see His offspring speaking of His resurrection. It is the gospel according Isaiah. Israel cannot be the Saviour of anyone because only God can be our Savior. Anything else is idolatry.
