Watch Chef Luca Brunelle prepare his famous recipe for Crab Cakes. Chef Luca is a Certified Executive Chef for Reel Seafood Co in Albany, NY.

RECIPE: CRAB CAKES

- 1 lb Jumbo Lump Crab Meat
- 1 1/4 Cups Panko Bread Crumbs
- 1 Egg
- 2.5 ounce Mayonnaise
- 1 Tbsp Parsley
- 1 Tbsp Worcestershire
- 3/4 tsp Dry Mustard
- 3/4 tsp Kosher Salt
- Pinch of White Pepper
- 1 tsp Lemon Juice

Mix all ingredients together and fold in crab and Panko last. Be careful no to overmix. Crab should still be in whole lumps. Let sit at least one hour. Form into cakes and coat with flour. Pan sear and bake in oven until golden brown.

  • Awesome! I love good crab cakes, and appreciate the video. Question, though, it Chef says "from the oven". Were the cakes seared and finished in the oven or cooked stovetop?
