I've watched the WSOP coverage kind of backwards, coming to 2003 after watching the more recent years, and this is the first one I've seen that seems closer in vibe to usual poker club/casino games. Even Norman Chad is restrained! To be honest, I think that's more about the production than the reflection of the tournament atmosphere.

No doubt ESPN "sexed it up" to make it more glamorous for viewers. Can't blame them.
