Thanks for the great info! Im wiring to fans into my truck to get rid of the stock clutch fan now. Before I knew about relays I was just running fuses and keep blowing them up hopefully this will fix that

@JD8853 the presence of current in the coil creates an electromagnet that closes the switch. no current = no magnet = no switch
