@InsaneRussian100 actually the song is more about spilling blood and it comes from a templars point of view. He talks about giving up holyness and that all god wants is for him to spill blood in his name. Holy is not worth it.

what the hell is this argument and fight (in comments),about atheism and Islam? this is not because a song talk about the past of Europe that this is integrist christian militantism. I'm an atheist and I like this band. christian integrists/fanatics aren't better than muslim integrists/fanatics. to be intolerant about a relgion or atheism is dumb and primitive. In Belgium, believers and atheists respect each others.
