@novajoke If you must know, I made $66,000 last year. I swear, talking to you is like a dick measuring contest. You posted an article written in Japanese about some gaijin being arrested, which has NOTHING to do with this guy's video. You are full of anti-immigrant sentiment, blaming Japan's problems on foreigners. I heard the same thing in America about immigrants causing all of the crimes. You are a total hypocrite. I don't even teach Eikaiwa, you bigot.

@kariwazhere72 What gave you the idea that I can't speak Japanese? I speak Japanese very well, and it is this edge that has put me in high demand among the schools I teach at. Most ALTs can't speak Japanese well, but I am able to teach classes to children by myself. I can explain the subject matter in Japanese, and I am the main teacher in all of my classes. I am not an assistant teacher at all.
-
@novajoke I did, actually. I taught English as both a job and as volunteer to immigrant families. You really are just an angry, sad man, full of your own prejudices and you leap to too many wrong conclusions. I'm through talking to you.

@stevethefishdotnet im not trying to be mean, but if you can't speak japanese, then don't teach english.. no one is going to learn, you wont be able to explain it... so whats the point its better for a native teacher to teach
-
@12GageMcBuckshot English is a standard, yes, but in Asia Chinese is fast taking over. Like it or not, that means that people over there are wanting to learn Chinese more than English and the English language industry is suffering.
If you get a chance to go to Japan in some other context, I would encourage you to do so. However, as I have stated, English language teaching is an industry in decline.
-
Ah so it seems then. You can't really control learning interests ey? I've heard English was standard for economics and business. Wouldn't it be strange as fuck if Chinese became that standard language for economics/business?
and I find industry as a whole a giant migraine, so generally I hate speaking in those terms. But ah well, I hope I can find some work in japan not dependent on my Native tongue, though it would be nice.

Aren't you full of anti-native rhtoric by .looking down on Indians though?? I laugh because Indians in Silicon Valley and other big cities usually outdo so called "natives" like yourself........ Did you lose out to these so called Indians when you had a "high" paying job??? Perhaps you used to sell cars.... lol lol lol. Hey nothing wrong with selling used or new cars....

@stevethefishdotnet "in a language that most viewers won't even understand"
I understand loud and clear amigo. Your typical "I am native so I am better than other non-natives" speak for themselves....
Nah I get the last laugh because I am exposing Eikaiwa profession is full of losers and parasite Gaijins like yourself who couldn't usually succeed in his/her native country...
I laugh because you said you had so called "high paying" job.... Yeah typical parasite Gaijins line.. :-).
-
Didn't I tell you that "native" is cliche these days? Anyone can teach the English language as long as they're qualified to teach. Pure and simple.
Your condescending manner towards other non-native speakers speak for themselves. Speaking of teaching don't you have millions of millions of illegal immigrants in your country that don't speak the English language?? Why don't you help out these people instead??
-
@novajoke This has nothing to do with canadianofthecoast's video about teaching English. You are abusing his channel just to soapbox your anti-gaijin rhetoric, in a language that most viewers won't even understand. You accuse everyone of racism, yet you are full of vitriol towards non-Japanese yourself. Repeating yourself ad nauseam about white supremacy, yet you post this anecdote about some foreigner being arrested. You are angry and sad, and nobody cares about your stupid crap.
After the March 2011 tsunami 100,000 foriengers left Japan so I think they need more people now more than they have in a long time. So whatever I've done research for two years and if i get offered any of these jobs I have applied for I am going. I applied to seven jobs and got an interview for one that seems pretty fast to me. I AM GOING TO JAPAN WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT MWHAHAHAHA.
