'Hello Youtubers and welcome to my Wall Climb-Up tutorial.
Today I'm going to share some tips and tricks on how to improve your climb-up.

Now, you've just seen me do a climb-up, lets see that in slowmotion.
As you can see, my arms are straight.
If you bend your arms while hanging on a wall, you won't be able to pull yourself up as hard as you will when your arms are straight.

One of the keypoints to a good climb-up is the combination of kicking your knee up in the air and pulling yourself up towards the wall.

Watch, how I use my knee in the climb-up.
I kick up my knee really hard and at the same time I pull myself up towards the wall.
You can try practising that to improve your climb-up as well.
Just like that.
And there you go, a climb-up.

Alright, another thing to keep in mind is your foot placement.
If you put your feet too low on the wall, you'll never be able to do a proper climb-up, or at least it will be very hard.
Just like that.

Try to put your highest foot, which is left for me, quite high up on the wall.
Make sure you feel comfortable though.
This way you'll be able to use that foot to kick yourself up harder once you pull up.
Just like that.

Alright, and there you have it, a climb-up.

I hope these simple tips and tricks helped you out a bit, feel free to leave a message if you have any further questions.

Thanks for watching.'

Alright, first try to place your feet higher up the wall, train your legs for strength or even consider wearing different or no shoes.

Second, put your hands in a 90 degree angle and just place them right on top of the wall, this may feel weird when you start doing it, but in the end you'll have a lot more strength with this.

    Hope it helped :)

  • I have got 2 problems :

    1. I always slip with my feet

    2. I have problems with my hand/ finger placement , my fingers always slip to a point that i only have the tips or halft of the finger on the wall

  • @Robito555 the new parkour vision shoe is especially designed for parkour you can either buy it from a decathlon store or parkour generations online

  • nice video man what is the last song?

  • It's harder to do this when the roof of your house sticks out a bit, in my opinion.

  • I got a question dont be suprised of my age but here it goes

1)As i pull my self up is there anyway i can climb up without like having my shoes to slip off and me ending up hitting my knee i can handle this a bit but i my problem is no grip any pointers to a real rookie?

  • @Robito555 try 5.10 they have parkour, freerunning shoes or buy a pair of nike darts

  • @generations69

In true parkour, you should avoid flips as they slow you down.

If you mean a roll, on the ground, practise it on grass or a mat.

  • @mushandhales thanks
