Bike Night - April 29, 2009

Eurotrash/whatever bike night.

Cool place. Many thanks to Fei, the owner, for hosting.

Rion Monk was a friend who died in 2005 as a result of a motorcycle accident. The white rabbit decal on the VFR at the end is a tribute to him that all his friends use (as his screen name was WhiteRabbit).

Dammit.. I realized after the fact that the dates got cut off on the text at the end. Being that it's 1 in the morning.. I'll have to fix it later. Sorry guys..

Looks like a fun night. How is it that I've ridden by there a few hundred times and never known that's where Mings is. I've heard of it many times, but haven't seen it...sigh. Gonna have to check that one out soon.

It's there every Wednesday.. I'll probably be there this week (though likely bikeless due to circumstances that happened Friday night). Jim mentioned you live in the area, so if you have a chance to drop by, feel free. :)

I can't this week, actually. I gotta a lot to do to prep for a trip to the Ozarks the following weekend, and it's gonna have me whipped on friday night. :(

Didn't crash it, but a buddy of mine made me drop it on Friday. :/ It's rideable, but I'm just not taking chances (dented the clutch cover, broke the end of the front brake lever off, bent in the rear brake lever.. the rest is just cosmetic).

Ohhh, Ozarks.. sounds like a lotta fun. :)

Thanks, Jim.. I'm still learning though. :) I hope to put this stuff to good use while I'm in Iraq later this year.. like I was telling Billmaa, I'll need something other than Halo to keep me entertained.
