Also, the driver in this video wasn't pushing. He shifted to 5th and 6th too early, also mentioned by him in the detail. He was also going uphill. The IS350 accelerates faster that this when shifted at the right speeds. Also this guy wasn't going after acceleration. He was going for the top speed. Got that?

Did anyone notice that once he hits 100 at about 21 seconds, the speedo area has a red ring that appears around the speedometer? Pretty cool

Haha yes, all the IS have this feature. You can also turn off those rings if you find it annoying.

This is weird. my 2007 TL Type-S went from 65 to over 130 in about 30 seconds now that's just lugging it in 6th gear. This IS did 60-145? in like 35 flooring it. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think TL is faster

That's nice... I don't understand why you posted, the video is not even a Nissan vs Lexus. It is simply a video to show the viewers the limited top speed of the IS.
