Director Serdar came up with the idea for the film after noticing the way people behave in public places - particularly on public transport.
My inspiration came from my experiences on buses and tubes in London, where teenagers play music aloud from iPods and mobile phones. I wanted to work with the idea of this stereotype, but the underlying theme of the film is multiculturalism and how people can learn to live together in a diverse country.
In 2008, the film was selected as one of the titles aired across 150 countries for Pangea Day
