Moodle 1.9.7 - simple discussion forum

This tutorial shows how to set up a "single, simple discussion" forum type in Moodle 1.9.7. This forum type is especially useful for a focused discussion on a single course topic. You as the instructor set up the framework for the discussion in the forum introduction, and then students have the ability to respond to your initial question(s) or to each others' responses. All the discussion is contained in a single discussion thread.
