Milling a section of trunk into 8' boards from a Sweet Chestnut tree that came down during a storm in 2007.
The tree was bought from a woodland within Sherwood forest and the wood will be air dried for 8 - 12 months before being placed in our solar heated kiln to finish the drying process so that it can be used for making furniture.
It takes 5 - 7 minutes to make each cut depending on the density of the wood being cut.
