Storm front rolling in - York Western Australia

A storm front coming through York in Western Australia on the 29th of Jan, 2011. It came through minutes before we were due to go for a skydive. Thanks to everyone for their positive comments!

Thanks for all the positive feedback everyone! I'm glad most of you enjoyed seeing something that was hopefully new and interesting. Anyone who wants to see what the storm looked like when it hit can see it in the video responses we made. Cheers.

Only about 30-40 mins, it went pretty dark as you can see in the video responses, but it died down as quickly as it appeared. It managed to knock down caravans and rip trees down on it's way though.

silly people this was not a cyclone and there is no such thing as a cyclone front. This was a storm that had nothing to do with the Cyclone. The Cyclone (Cyclone Bianca ) was approx 900km from where this was filmed at the time of this storm so maybe you should check your facts before naming your video so that you don't looked stupid. Other than that it was a good video of the storm

@munyman07 So sorry I wouldn't want to "looked stupid" now would I? Maybe if I had published this in a scientific journal claiming to be a meteorologist I might actually "looked stupid", but I think that most people who view the video won't be totally offended by my ignorance. Good day sir!

Great footage, gotta watch out for those mesocyclones, with a storm that is low to the

ground or with zero visibility like this one, you really can't tell what it is bringing until

it overtakes you. If there was a tornado you cannot see it coming with a stormfront

like this one. Looks like you guys haven't had any rain lately or either it is very, very

hot there. Be safe and keep getting these awesome vids, Thanks!
