@meghanjfb Also, the dogs knows he is doing real help to their master. They feel pleased that they know they are helping and they feel like they fit in and work as a part of the "pack"

For the commenters that think this is abusive/a waste of time, Border Collies NEED TO WORK. They get into mischief (i.e. eat your house) if they are bored. They aren't dogs who are happy just hanging around doing nothing. Some bcs are agility or flyball, some herd, some dance, and some learn lots of tricks- bcs don't care as long as they are doing something intellegent. Learn a bit about a breed before you start accusing people of 'abuse'.

@hottAFchickI suggest that you go and find documentaries of animal abuse, circuses are great example of that.

I'm not saying Paige is intentionally abusing her dog but many people will actually abuse their dogs or animals to get them to do what they want.

I also don't think & neither I'm saying that teaching your dog tricks is bad but some people don't know when to stop, some things are unnecessary for dogs to learn.

We live in an age where everything is for "my entertainment"

@elijah7k this training probably took months to do. actually doing the video 2:18 im pretty sure the dog did not suffer through that amount of time. now if she was having this dog run through fire or some stupid shit like that, or some of the other shit people have their dogs do, like fight eachother. then i would report this video to the authortities but thats not happening.
