It would probably sound better - Mesa is pretty dark and this pedal has slightly piercing highs on a Fender (even though it has Eminence speakers, which add some nice compression and cut the highs) - they're just too darn sparkling! (and that's a good thing - I just love my Princeton Reverb for it). Great demo with some really smooth tones from 0:30 onwards.

Beautiful, just beautiful. I wonder how it would perform on my Mesa Boogie MKII combo with the EV speaker... I also have a strat (Classic Player 50s) but I am also a big fan of humbuckers... If my main guitar was the strat, I would have already bought it...
