I think it's funny how people accuse Desiring God of being on a paper chase. John Piper makes no royalties off of his books. Instead all of the money goes into funding for the ministry and giving away free materials. Piper himself shops at thrift stores and has a total of 3 or for 4 suit-jackets (which he gets from thrift stores for a couple of dollars) which he wears all the time while preaching.

This ministry is the real deal. Accusations of them being lovers of money hold no weight.

Gab, your comment shows both 1. ignorance to this ministry and 2. your blind desire to find proof to your blanket opinion that all religion is evil.

Most of DG's materials can be downloaded free (ebooks, mp3, etc.). They help out those that want some materials but can't afford it. 'Profits' simply cover costs.

Nothing in this vid supports your theory. You are grabbing at straws.

I encourage you to go to their site and search the word gospel. Would be worth your time.

Religion is foolish, but it's superstitions are insanity..

Christ (who, may or, may not have ever existed) would have been just a man.. But as the "founder" of the worlds largest religion has hardly saved us from it.

There is more to the Bible that just Jesus. And unfortunately, most of it is garbage. It has held back humanity.. And convinced good people to do evil things.

If you want to debate the Bible, that's fine. It would be about as boring as debating any other work of fiction.

Christ objectively in history 2000 years ago by dying a brutal death on the cross freed us form religion and now leads to life love and true freedom.
