Virtopsy - Kinect Gesture Control Plugin for OsiriX

This video demonstrates our Kinect plugin for the free DICOM image viewer OsiriX (http://www.osirix-viewer.com). It allows the control of basic tools (zoom, pan, scroll, window presets) via different finger gestures.
Main improvements since our first "proof of concept implementation":
1. Single finger gestures instead of tracking the whole hand.
2. Suppression of unwanted movements. A tool is exclusively triggered with the proper finger gesture.
3. Elimination of the voice recognition. (headset needed, prone to background noise and strange dialects)
4. Integration into OsiriX as a standard plugin.
The code is based on libfreenect and OpenCV.
