Years ago, WWLS out of New Orleans, La . would play' " IT' s 4 in the mornin" by Faron. He had a gift. He was a good looking, polished country singer. " Hello Walls" You know I can keep going but I won' t. RIP Faron. You are not forgotten.

Faron you were the king of the crooners .. nobody could sing a song like you. you just looked like you were having as much fun as the people. I miss you already but you are gone. sad to say R.I. P. OLLD SHERRIFF.

This live version is so much better than the recording. If the the record had this much punch it would have probably done better. But none of the old timers were charting much in 1988 when the song was released.

This is the man who was my favorite, and still is. One of the best in the business. Sad that he's not mentioned much anymore. Great artist and talent. He'll be missed.
