I just started reading the book, what he is doing in it is exactly the type of thing I want to report and experiance if I go the journalist path.

I am hoping he is not over bias, so far he's not (I want to learn about the facts and not emotional opinions, if you get what I'm saying)

I read his book, and it feels like you know him and you are with him on every part of the journey. he really explains things really well and shows you the other side of war--from the civilians point of view, not just the politicians' and news shows.

many 'cool gadgets' are the product of war or military funding. new games are about war you play at being a soldier and you play at killing people.people forget that when you see cool explosions on the t.v. real people are dying and real people are having their lives stripped away from them because of economics and politics. remember that 'cool gadgets' are made to kill a human being, they are made to rip PEOPLE apart and destroy their very beings. War is only a game to politicians and generals.
