When will people understand that art is not a competition? To say somebody is the greatest composer in jazz, it just means that you like him more. We humans love to classify everything into the biggest, the greatest, the best, and we don´t understand that it is the music that flows through composers and not otherwise.

this tune is 55 years old but still sounds fresh and interesting...
No doubt,Charles M. was a great composer, maybe the greatest in jazz.....
great balance between composition, arrangement and improvisation, as always with him.... soulful session.

Well said my friend, I couldn't agree more, it can upsetting soemtimes to see people argue who the best musician, producer etc. I would say the problem is more prevalent in Western societies where classifying things by whats the biggest and best is the thing to do.
