  • @yarrowworks quite communistic if u think about it.

  • @philthy122 he said it…. from the rich people getting richer while the poorer are getting poorer

  • @philthy

1 Those earning minimum wage spend almost all of their income (often more than it) meaning money injected into them through minimum wage increases is quickly returned to the economy reducing inflationary effects.

2 Hasn't eventuated in other OECD countries who almost universally have a higher top tax rate than us. 45% in Australia, 50% in the UK etc...do you not think if your premise were true all those people would be moving here?

  • Who would dislike; 'a fair share for everyone'?!

  • Clearly Goff and many of his labour supporters are delusional when it come to tax and how the nz economy works.

1- increasing the min wage effectively reduces the buying power on middle income earners and prices will go up to pay wage increases. Leading to higher inflation.

2- currently the top 10% of tax payers pay 75% or the govt tax take; by increasing the amount they have to pay you can be assured that many with take their skills and money elsewhere.

So where will Labour get money from???

  • Good on you Phil...Your message is a good one !!! Now how to get the voters to get out and supporting Labour...We have information-less political analysis...1/2 truths and advertisements masquerading as real reporting in the print media and on TV3 and TV1 !

  • I enjoyed watching this video. We all need Labour back in power. Keys National party is not really for the majority of the people of New Zealand, but sadly a lot of people that will benefit from Labour Party are going to vote for Nation due to their ignorance. Life has changed for the worst since National got in. But oh well, it could be worst. Bring Labour back, it will be best for the people of New Zealand.

  • @tankdownunder I didn't think the guy in the intro was Phil Goff. I feel sorry for him, where is his team, his supporters, the guys who would prop him up to win the elections?

  • Goff, my friend,

I admire your courage, but I feel your presentation needs to improve heaps. Why didn't you get the camera to show us these important people in your life (father and Mary?) Why didn't you show the full house you referred to? You know, in your heart that it takes a lot more than cheap fruit and vegetables to combat obesity, why did you simplify the issue? I watched your video up to 16:02 and decide to spend my time elsewhere. Nat is doing badly, but I can't see how you do better.

  • Phail Goff
