1:00 - I'm not sure if the captain went to the North Pole without proper clothes, but if you take precautions like wearing a polar jacket, scarf around your mouth, and maybe goggles, the most memorable thing is that the cold will send a strong burning feeling on every centimeter of exposed skin in your face, and you will feel your fingers grow cold and aching and numb first. Taking heavy breaths isn't recommended, but the cold doesn't attack the inner organs first.

What's wrong with giving the player crappy guns in a horror game? I think that's a brilliant idea, because it makes the player vulnerable in fights. Also, scoped guns are very useful on ships, because they can be used OUTSIDE the ship. So what that the player never goes outside to use it - that's the reason why it's there.

It explains the zombies, being able to travel into the past via the dead, frozen minds of former Russian sailors, it getting dark while zombies are alive, and lighting back up after their death, your odd ability to heal all wounds via lightbulb that is supposedly warm enough to keep you alive in Arctic conditions, and the strange frost appearing wherever you were apparently hit when shot.
