@girlsbdfa actually shaak ti WAS one of the few jedi who escaped the jedi purge. i have a star wars fandex and it says there was no record of her death in the actual movies.

that's because it was in a deleted scene in the DVD, and the deleted scene has been ruled non-canon, as George Lucas had quite a say in the making of this game. For any Star Wars Fan, George Lucas as the creator of the Star Wars Universe, his word is law when it comes to Star Wars.

Well wearing traditional Jedi Robes during the Empire era would make one stick out like a sore thumb, and in that era "A captured Jedi is a dead Jedi." Then of course this is at least a decade after Order 66, and a Jedi would have a hard time keeping their traditional garb in their wardrobe with Imperial Forces hunting them everywhere, let alone maintaining their light sabers, then Shaak Ti ends up on a planet like Felucia, so yeah tradional garb is a bad idea in such an environment health wise.
