The Crazy Multicultural Wedding in Poland by Marcin Bublewicz - www.echoprojekt.pl

So, Dominika is a Stargardian girl and Dinis is Canadian with Portuguese roots. They met during their studies in Bordeaux and the result of their encounter was the May 2009 wedding ceremony which brought together guests from many (more than 10) countries to celebrate the occasion.

Up until the ceremony I managed my set out itinerary and knew the sequence of events - where and how to position myself to capture the key moments. However, with the D&D wedding, all knowledge went right out the door. Nevermind me - as it turned out not only was I left speechless but even the priest lost his cue a few times as though he were stoned. From the Gospel choir to the string quartet, readings in 4 different languages and numerous standing ovations from the guests you just couldn't help but let emotions take over.

But let's not get too excited yet, the revenge was sweet! The wedding party, after their Sunday May 17th photo shoot, will always associate our country (apart from the hangover and traditional "nastarofie") with crazy photographers! :) Overhearing phrases analogous to the title of this slideshow, I am under the impression that the foreigners who are used to posing for cheesy-smile shooting, had a rather uneasy job! :)

Anyhow, so please enjoy this little presentation. And by the way the wall, which separated D&D during the traditional Polish blessing, was the result of the newlyweds deciding to see themselves in full "accessories" only before the altar. The effect was stunning! :)
