LF, or Left Field (Kay Franklin & Waren Vaughn) is a music duo from La,Ca dedicated to creating innovative, versatile, and simply, good music. Only 20 and 21 years old, LF has the ability to do what is relevant and familiar, as well as their own sound. Both produce, song-write, rap, sing, and come from families full of talented, and prominent musicians. Their musical DNA passed down from Waren Vaughn's mother and father: Wanda Vaughn (Grammy Award winning singer of The Emotions) and Wayne Vaughn (writer and composer for Earth Wind and Fire), as well as Kay Franklin's grandfather: John Barnes (song-writer and producer for Michael Jackson, Chaka Khan, Whitney Houston and more), has rooted them in a sturdy foundation. So, not only are they following family tradition, but, paving a new road along the way, with music you can only label as Left Field.
