2:30 Von Stalhein is a true badass - and has the flying helmet to match!

@squeekdesk the interesting thing is this film WAS intended to be a rival to Indiana Jones. The film went into pre-production after Indy with that as the plan then Back to the Future came out and the studio decided to cram in the Time travel element. Looking at the plot it wouldn't of taken much to take out the time travel and make it a purely period film.

I would love to see a Spielberg / Bay / Lucas / Bruckheimer / modern version of "Biggles". no silly time travelling, but a real "Indiana Jones" type adventure.
There are enough original books to rival a bond francise.
With todays tech and good casting for our 4 heros. I hope someone would pick up on these stories.

Thanks, Recording engineer is, Studio music (sound track) recording.
I was the recording engineer on this movie.
A few stories are involved, personality clashes and disagreements over 2 months of 24/7.
Now i plead. Do you have a DVD copy ?
I have it on VHS, but the VHS player has spent the last years being recycled..

@squeekdesk Yeah I have it on DVD, you can get it very cheap in the UK, the aspect ratio of the DVD is 4:3 which is annoying but as I understand the film was shot 'Open Matte' and matted to a 16:9 ratio for the cinema so I did the same thing by ripping the film from the disc and created my own 'cropped' 16:9 framing as an avi file on my media PC.
So what's a recording engineer do then?
