when ZZ Top's Billy Gibson plays the 1982 Chiquita Travel Guitar designed by him in 1979. The guitar was made by Mark and Dan Elerwine. This guitar is very rare to this day out of Austin, Texas.

Man o man, what memories! WillyG. wuzz prowli'n nat stage in them dazz!! I'd seen them live the prior tour,Deguello 79 , also The Fandango Tour in 75& all these yrs later,I've never seen any better live shows.Love this tune,I bout burnt a hole n that EL LOCO album.Great Post!......THAT'S WHAT THE HIPPIE SAID!!

Yep, there's either tape or a keyboard player backstage. But who cares? There's nothing wrong with a little support to make the song sound Right. Good musicians know, you play to Serve The Song. Period. If it sounds good, it IS good, that's the only rule in music! I saw this and 5 other ZZ tours and nobody puts on a show like the Top! Have Mercy Rev!
