Brad Renfro's character (Marty) gets BRUTALLY cock-blocked by Nick Stahl (Bobby) in the film Bully. One of the meanest things I've ever seen in a movie.

Rest In Peace, Mr. Renfro. You were a great young actor - like a young Paul Newman - and could have gone on to great things.

Again, as I said before, so many people were involved in this killing, it's an extremely complicated case. All of them were constantly drunk and on drugs, ranging from marijuana to LSD (if you believe Jim Schutze's book and this movie based on it, anyway.) There was an element of premeditation to it, but also a strong sense of impulsiveness and drug-addled, irrational behaviour.

So nobody can truly know what Bobby Kent did to Marty and whether he "deserved" to die. Of course Puccio and friends will tell a nasty tale of Bobby's supposed brutality. Perhaps some is true and perhaps not, but the point is, we will never know. On the other hand, I do not think that Marty Puccio would kill again, if released from prison. The killing of Kent was an elaborate scheme that was carried out by a bunch of different people and seems to have mostly been Lisa's idea.
