I am a fan of all four mansions, and I'm supposing I'll like Mystic Manor when it comes out in a few years. Can't wait for the new Haunted Mansion movie!

@Dragonrider1227 Yup, Mystic Manor is basically a combo of the Haunted Mansion with several other famous attractions. In the middle of a dark rainforest is the mansion of Henry Mystic, an eccentric explorer whose house is filled with artifacts from around the world. He invites us into his home for a tour. We board vehicles (Which don't follow any track) for our tour. Along the way a mischievous monkey opens up a cursed music box which causes everything in the house to come to life and attack!

phantom manor to me is way scarier than haunted mansion, it's because it was the only mansion with a plot

@conner623 Well, the Haunted Mansion movie has elements of the ride in it, mainly the 'Lost Love' story and the zombies. However, in the movie, the genders have been reversed, in which the groom loses his bride.

There really is no absolute on the Phantom's identity, they leave it to your imagination. I came up with the idea that Henry Ravenswood, determined to keep Melanie in Thunder Mesa, invited local clairvoyant Madame Leota to his home before the wedding. He asked for her assistance in stopping the wedding, and she summoned a demon spirit. This spirit saw Melanie and wanted her for his own, so he killed her husband, keeping her trapped in the house forever...but that's just MY take on it =P

That was very neat :) I'm a geek for behind the scenes stories, even though I'm such a scaredy cat and never go on the Haunted Mansion in Disneyland.

hey! did melanie get murdered or killed her self? and if murder ...who? this story has a realy deep story but I don't fully understand it.. ive been on the ride a few times my self but it still kind of.....well confusing

I like the music on this .. one of em' is a western version on the haunted mantion song I love that one
