Hey man, been following you for a while and getting into this. Currently I'm using the Alesis module and triggering addictive drums but I'm still finding the latency to be bad. Did your firebox help or did you just pick it up for recording inputs. When you say 0 latency, I assume you mean the sound directly from the mic pre to the headphone amp (pre computer processing) so in this case the trigger signal coming back off the computer would certainly have some latency? Help! :)

Hmm... acoustic: something from Peace, Pearl, or Ddrum. Electronic: I don't know. If you wanted, you could always buy individual RET drums and slowly build your kit up? Depending on what you want, my site can do single drums for about $380 each.
