  • i have never once commented on one of my own videos, but damn, Whatisthescore sounds quite bitter - perhaps spending too much time bitching and less time creating?

  • Wow dude. I can't believe I've never heard of Walter Smith before! DAMN this guy can play. I'm going to go looking around for more Walter to listen to! Also, I'm going to go and run my own tenor over with my car now.

  • nice major thirds superimposition on 3 20

  • This is fantastic! If Walter learns some circular breathing to extend some of those phrases, this will be golden!

  • @theclavious says the guy who doesnt know how to spell joshua *redman's name.... walter is lightyears ahead of redman.

  • @lastparadox

somewhere sonny stitt and dexter gordon are smiling.

  • I wonder if the old people clapping even comprehend the magnitude of Walter's playing...

  • Lot's of Sonny Stitt!!! Love it!!

  • You all sound great ...and Walter...he's just smokin'. Nope, he doesn't sound like Coltrane. Maybe the comparisons are a kind of complement for his speed. Walter's improvs seem unique (not that I'm an expert, but that's my opinion).

It would be interesting to hear you guys do some jazz classics with arrangements that let each of you solo to showcase your style.

    Thank you for the performance.

    **applause**

  • Hes no where near coltrane..and shouldnt be mentioned in the same sentence. He needs to first step in the ring with Joshua Redmond
