Come on, the new ipod shuffle is smaller and easier to take with you, if you want a great sound, of course this is not easy to change because of these new kind of earphones, but just go buy a nano or a classic if you dislike it.

Yeah its the 3rd generation.
On Apple's website, they say that the colored ones are 2nd Generation. :/
I first thought it was 4th too, but I checked the website.
