Delhi-based real estate developer Vatika Group organised a Earth Walk on March 28 as a prelude to Earth Day activities. This event was organised by property portal Magicbricks.com at Gurgaon, Haryana.
More than 500 participants walked from Vatika Tower at Sector 57 to Main Chowk Sector 56. The event turned out to be a huge success with enthusiastic citizens taking the Earth Pledge. Participants carried posters and placards to reaffirm their commitment towards environmental concerns.
The Municipal Commissioner of Gurgaon Rajiv Sharma formally inaugurated the event by cutting the ribbon and led the walk. A large number of school children read the pledge which was repeated by the adults there.
