From the works of Living Enlightened Master Paramahamsa Nithyananda. In this clip taken from the Shiva Sutras discourse titled, Transcend Your Desires, Swamiji describes a simple technique When a esire arises, just see it and unclutch, just drop the desire and become enlightened. In this sutra, He is describing pure renunciation. He tells us that one has a choice to learn from a master or learn from life. You can indeed learn from life, but often by the time you learn, it is time to leave the body. Swamiji then goes on to describe two truths in detail Anubhava or learning through experience and Anubhuthi or learning through intelligence. Swamiji also cautions the serious seeker that there are so many claims made by people to give you the truth. If it comes from an un-enlightened space, truth becomes corrupted. He encourages that even if it seems a little difficult in the beginning, we should learn from authentic sources. The complete discourse may be ordered online at www.lifeblissgalleria.com.

  • The Master was exceedingly gracious to university dons who visited him, but he would never reply to their questions or be drawn into their theological speculations.

To his disciples, who marveled at this, he said, "Can one talk about the ocean to a frog in a well--or about the divine to people who are restricted by their concepts?"
