I see no problem in using those caluclators. Saying that it makes you lazy but even using the basic calculators have the same effect. Why not embrace the efficiency of the modern calculator?

Haven't met a college professor that will let you use a TI-89 in Calc 1,2,3, or differential equations. Good luck.

In college we weren't allowed to use one. Only a simple calculator, + - x /..... Graphing calculators aren't allowed by many teachers. Luckily our educational systems can do one more disservice before you leave high school.

If you have an iPhone the $20 program "Space Time" is great. It is also is faster than my TI-89 Titanium. The touch screen is also plus.

Your probably right, but I don't want to switch my phone provider and get a iPhone when I can just get a TI-89, which I already have.
