@elliotnickells2010 Depends where you do your training. I was Badged Grenadier Guards at Infantry Training Centre Catterick and we had A2s with SUSAT fitted and later in the course you got the combined foregrip/bipod that slots on the picatinny rail. If you go Infantry you also train on the LMG during phase 2. I've got several mates who went to Bassingbourne with RE and others who went RLC at Pirbright. They had A1s with no optics-just iron sights.

@babscabs1987 this is my video :) i uploaded this and i passed out sometime in errr july i think can't remember exact, oh and just one more thing, the last section of this video was phase 2 training at bovington, Dorset. passed out in October got to reg in November
