"While My Guitar Gently Weeps," written by George Harrison and released in 1968 on the White Album with Eric Clapton on the lead guitar. It was ranked #7 on Rolling Stone Magazine's 100 Greatest Guitar Songs of All Time. Harrison committed himself to write a song based on the first words he saw when opening a random book. These words were "gently weeps," and he began to write this song.
Very nice.
