Don't give up! Tell your instructor to shove it :L She shouldn't be telling you to give up. My horse used to be like this, mental. Jumped 40cm jumps like they were metres, and metre ten jumps like they were 10cm (i.e. walked through them, or rather, galloped through them) she didn't listen at all. But it did get better, now I compete with her! Keep at it :)

I don't think it looks like you no control have? It looks fine? I don't understand. I have a little pony on 116 cm. She is SO sweet, i really love her! And she is very fresh and like to jump. On my riding school.. no one cut ride on her, because she run very fast in canter. But i have ride on her for long time now, and it gets better and better, and actually, shes my pony now :D :D I will never give up with her!!!! She is running fast with me somtimes, but i now there is a metode! Takealookonmyv

dont let that "instructer" to tell u what to do you got a good boy :) if that was a real intructer he would tell you to just work i know its really fustrating but it will click togeth ^^
i had a pony like this but much worse he could spook at anything he could, thru walk and trot he was the best horse ever as soon as it came to cantering jumping and hacking he was a nightmare, put his head between his knees, lock onto the bit and gallop at jumps, i gave up on him it was the worst thing i have evr done, i am lucky in a way coz non ov my family are involved with my riding life so they dont know whats going on and carnt tell me what to ride or what to do

You tell him that your the boss...if he is not slowing down jerk the reins like your gonna break his jaw (this coming from my dad when i had these troubles) he wont go faster kick him like your gonna break his ribs (it wont hurt bad) moonshine used to pinn his ears back when i clicked and kicked him and stay in the trot so i got tough with him! i kicked him and smacked him one and in a matter of days the problem was fixed and now he is a great horse! you just cant be soft with him when hes bad!

i wasnt being soft, but i dont think i would be that hard either... the only time i yanked a horse in the jaw purposely was in a show when he kept trying to rip the reins away from me, i yanked back. check out my new videos though, i dont go to this stable and i dont ride this horse anymore!
