  • the first 16 sec. a awsome list of drivers that should be racing nowadays

  • Bill won this after his mother and grandmother's death within a week of each other.

  • Bill Elliott drove two beer cars Bud & Coors. That's cool. Awesome Bill is still one of my all time favorite nascar drivers.

  • Bill Elliott is the best driver in the world driving a stock car over 210 mph. At those speeds that separates the men from the boys. If they didn't go to restrictor plates he would have won 20 more races at least.

  • real nascar racing ... not like thew joke it is today

  • now THAT'S some smart ass/strategic RACIN'!!! One AWESOME Motherfuckin' BILL!!!! \m/

  • I loved that red car, and I didn't like this blue one at all, at the time, but looking back this car wasn't too bad looking.

  • This was Bill's last Superspeedway win and final for Harry Melling's team, Elliott in my mind WAS the face of the Melling team, after Elliott left in 1992 to go to Jr. Johnson's team and made it a powerhouse again. Melling however tried to regroup with a revolving door of parttime pilots Dave Mader, Phil Parsons, Lake Speed for a while, they weren't able to capture the magic like they did with Bill.

  • What's wrong don't you like the 3 4 and 5 o'clock starts of now, lol!!!

No, the earlier 11AM and Noon starts were so much better. That way the fans still have the rest of the afternoon to do whatever. Who cares if the folks in California have to get up at 7AM. I do the same thing to watch Formula 1.
